The Talk
This is a very short short story (444 words) which I wrote for something completely different and used it for the “Flying Sparks” contest. This contest was a collaboration of the Frankfurter Buchmesse and jovoto.com and all about cross-media storytelling and showing how stories are told in the 21st century. Originally I only wanted to post the story and hope for a multimedia designer to pick it up and make it into an all shiny, fantastic cross-media thing.
Instead I invented a STOT – a Story Told On Twitter.
The original story had the two Archangels Gabriel and Uriel talking. So I turned both “voices” into Twitter accounts and used a third one as narrator:
Unfortunately the hashtag #tt_j is now too old to be viewed, so I made a screenshot. Remember to read it from bottom to top, as it follows the Twitter-timeline.
